A very neat sized quality pine trunk with original hinges and in exceelent condition, the dimensions are 40 ins long 18 ins wide and 16 ins deep.
 The trunk has been stipped and re-waxed to bring it back to wonderful honey colored pine finish. It could be used for a storeage box or perhaps a coffee table, a very nice piece of furniture.

 Inside the trunk is a news paper still stuck to the bottom which has the date 1898 this gives provenance to this interesting item.
